A new input suggests that the Huawei Mate 70 series might support both HarmonyOS NEXT and Android app versions. Compatibility with the latter implies that this time, the company could launch its new Mate smartphones in global markets.

RuiPlaysDigital mentions that the Huawei Mate 70 series will likely launch as a dual-frame lineup. It will adapt to both a single and double framework for efficiency.

Here, the single framework refers to the self-developed HarmonyOS NEXT apps whereas, the double framework is for Android. It means Huawei may launch an Android-compatible version of the Mate 70 series handsets in the time ahead.

Android-compatible version means that Mate 70 smartphones will be able to run Android applications. At the same time, it will bring HarmonyOS NEXT apps to Chinese consumers to meet their daily requirements with faster and smoother services.

If true, Huawei Mate 70 models will be able to support both HarmonyOS NEXT and Android app versions. This will ultimately enhance the user experience.

Some netizens even see this as a huge relief point as those who don’t want to jump on a new upgrade can continue to choose the old system. Things aren’t clear hence, we have to wait for the official announcement on this subject.

Huawei Mate 70 Android app

This input further hints that Huawei could unveil the Mate 70 series in the global markets. Last year, the company didn’t launch the Mate 60 models on the overseas platform. However this time, worldwide users may get the chance to explore Mate 70.

Perhaps this could have been a reason behind the Mate 70 series launch delay. Earlier reports claimed that Huawei is optimizing the software part for the Mate 70 models. As a result, the launch may delay from September to November this year.

Apart from the compatibility, the tipster mentioned that the Huawei Mate 70 series may launch in mid to late November. The accuracy of the current leak is still in question. Thus, let’s take this information with a grain of salt for the moment.

Huawei OceanStor A800 AI storage solution has ranked first in the global benchmark testing. The product topped the test – thanks to various smart AI capabilities and amazing high-end performance which is 10 times the traditional storage system.

MLPERF organized the Storage V1.0 AI benchmark test. It is a standard test platform that measures the performance level of AI hardware, software, as well as services.

The global authoritative platform conducts benchmark tests every year. It generates results by evaluating how many GPUs an AI storage system can support at a time.

It also includes aspects like storage bandwidth and computing power. The data needs to be read from the storage node and shouldn’t be cached on the host in advance. Overall, the test reflects the performance and large model storage experience.

In the latest MLPERF 2024 global storage benchmark testing, the Huawei OceanStor A800 AI Storage also participated and won the game defeating 12 of its rivals, for the first time.

It meets data throughput needs such as 255 GPU simulation training with a single device, GPU utilization rate above 90%, and single-frame stable bandwidth of 679 GB/s.

Huawei could introduce the Mate XT triple foldable globally in Q1 2025. That says a new report surfing on the internet. After a few official clues, the company may bring the innovative device to global consumers in the first quarter of the next year.

As per AndroidHeadlines, the Huawei Mate XT tri-fold phone could debut globally in Q1 2025. The company hasn’t confirmed the news yet. But a reliable source revealed the respective site about the tri-fold’s expansion in overseas markets.

Q1 2025 reflects that Huawei could showcase its new tri-folding device at the MWC 2025 event. One can also expect a separate global launch event for the world’s first triple foldable handset. Although an official confirmation awaits on this matter.

Mate XT is one of the most expensive phones in the Huawei foldable gallery. The Chinese tri-fold variant has a starting price of 19999 yuan ($2800). It is available in three storage variants and two colors: Red-Gold and Dark Black.

However, Huawei might make some changes in the global tri-fold version. For instance, the price could increase to $3000. Also, we may find limited storage variants as well as new color schemes like Green-Gold or a Snow White option.

These details may get more transparent as we enter 2025. Mate XT comes with a thin, light, and large outlook. It can take the form of a regular phone, a mini PC, or a tablet, as per your requirement.

The 12.8mm thick device appears similar when posed beside Galaxy Z Fold 6. You can check more details about the world’s first tri-fold phone HERE.

Honor is bringing the first software update for the global Magic V3 foldable users. The latest firmware contains a small list of new features. It also enhances the overall camera performance to deliver more clear and amazing portraits to users.

The company has recently served a huge feature and improvements update to the Chinese Magic V3 variants. Now Honor aims to improve the first-ever experience for global users via the first software update for the new foldable handset.

Inputs reveal that Honor Magic V3 global units are claiming the first update with the MagicOS 8.0.1.155. Ensure to have sufficient space as the latest iteration has a package of 1GB. We also suggest using a standard internet medium for installation.

The changelog shows the new AI eraser feature that will eliminate unwanted objects or passers-by from the image background. It makes your favorite moments more beautiful and vibrant with one tap.

Another feature addition is the “Face-to-face translation”. It is quite helpful during live lectures, collaboration with teammates, presentations, and more. Just turn it on, and the feature will translate what it hears or displays on the screen in real-time.

Huawei today released a new MatePad Pro 12.2 global teaser that flaunts the dual-layer OLED screen. This is the first tablet to introduce Tandem OLED PaperMatte display. It claims to offer a durable and highly efficient viewing experience.

Tandem OLED refers to an advanced display solution that consists of more than one layer of light-emitting slates. These are overlapped on each other and manage the visuals individually. As a result, users get brighter and more efficient visual effects.

Dual-layer OLED not only enhances visuality but also increases the screen’s lifespan. It lessens the power consumption by 30% and further helps the smartphone or tablet’s battery last longer compared to the single-OLED screen devices.

Apple was the first to launch a dual-layer OLED tablet iPad Pro 2024. Later, Honor joined this pool with the Magic 6 Ultimate Edition and RSR Porsche Design models.

Huawei launched its first double-layer OLED tablet last month in China and now it is bringing the device for worldwide consumers. Looking into the new global teaser, the Huawei MatePad Pro 12.2 will offer a redefined and brighter visual experience.

The teaser hypes how the Tandem OLED PaperMatte solution eases the screen’s content for users. The colors seem more vibrant and the text appears clearer.

Huawei MatePad Pro 12.2 global teaser

PaperMatte, on the other hand, gives you a smoother and richer paper-like feel while running the stylus through the screen. Thus, users will observe a more fluent and faster functioning of the M-Pencil on the flagship tablet.

You can check the complete teaser HERE.

Key features of the MatePad Pro 12.2 include a 2.8K high-end resolution, a dual rear camera system with a 13MP main shooter, and an 8MP ultrawide-angle lens. Users can collaborate with teammates on virtual meetings using an 8MP front-facing lens.

Upgraded HarmonyOS 4.2 with new features would be another addition to the device. Whether the company introduces new AI features with this tablet for global users would be worth looking forward to.

A new Mate XT promotional video and a few images on the official Huawei Global X channel fanned speculation for the tri-fold’s debut in the overseas markets. It seems the tech giant could soon offer the world’s first triple-foldable to global consumers.

Huawei launched the Mate XT tri-fold on September 10. After wrapping up the event, the company shared promo pictures of the triple-foldable on its global X page.

Soon after these images, the Chinese phone maker uploaded a one-minute Mate XT promotional video on YouTube. The short clip details the design and the key points of the tri-fold. It shows how the company has crafted its most innovative device.

Neither the pictures nor the promotional video announced the global Mate XT launch date. However, the new posts on the “Huawei Global” pages are enough to spark speculation of the Mate XT triple-foldable’s debut on the overseas platform.

Check the complete Mate XT promo video HERE.

Huawei might have shared the device’s image on global sites to boast about its achievements over a triple-folding phone. Yu Chengdong – the Chairman of Huawei Consumer Business already said that the company has created a foldable that everyone thinks of but cannot make.

The situation seems quite puzzling right now. Huawei hasn’t confirmed the global launch of the first triple foldable. Let’s wait for official words on this matter. The tech giant may speak on this buzz at the September 19 launch event.

Mate XT – a true innovation!

Mate XT comes on the user ground with high-end capabilities, new AI tools for content creation and photo editing, and a world-class technological look. It has crossed 4 million reservation units and is expected to beat many competitors in the market.

Huawei launched the Mate XT against the iPhone 16 series. As per several tech analysts, the new tri-foldable could be a major threat to Apple’s new-gen models in China. It would be worth seeing who will be the winner between Huawei and Apple in the premium phone market after the new product launch.
