Let’s explore the newly launched speaker in detail.

Design

Huawei launches Sound X4 speaker with the same 3D curved surface as the previous-gen models. It brings smart colorful light effects that move as per the sound. The device is available in two bashing colors: Rhythmic Black and Dynamic White.

It has a dimension of 175.6 x 175.6 x 224mm and weighs around 3150 gm. Sound X4 packs a pure titanium film tweeter, a self-developed mica fiber diaphragm with a midrange speaker, and a 50W sub-tweeter to provide clear sound all the time.

The device supports eight-speaker units which count one 4.75-inch woofer (rated 50W power), four 1.5-inch full-range speakers (5W power each), one 1.25-inch tweeter (3W power), and two passive radiators. It has a frequency response range of 40kHz.

Huawei might delay the launch of its Kirin PC chip till Q1 2025. Many of us expected to see the brand’s first-ever computer-dedicated chip this year. But it looks like the company doesn’t want to hurry in making the best and most efficient PC processor.

A new leak suggests the uncertainty of the Kirin PC launch this year. Weibo tipster @BeijingDigitalMaster says that Huawei might delay the release of the Kirin PC chip by Q1 2025. And we have some reasons that justify the delay to some extent.

The Chinese OEM already has several major launches this year. For instance, this month will likely bring the Nova 13 series, a new MatePad tablet, the Sound X4, a smart Hi MateBook laptop, and of course, the HarmonyOS NEXT public beta program.

Next month is also seemingly full of big surprises like the stable HarmonyOS NEXT rollout, the flagship Mate 70 series, the Mate X6 dual-foldable phone, and more.

Huawei might have saved some interesting offerings for December as well. Thus, there are chances that the company may unveil its computer-dedicated software and chip in early 2025. Though the tech giant hasn’t mentioned any details on this matter.

A recent leak said that Huawei may launch the HarmonyOS PC in the next six months. Perhaps the company may debut the Kirin PC chip at the same time.

Early inputs predicted that the Kirin PC would follow the Apple M-series chip architecture. This framework includes all the main parts like DRAMs and SoCs in one package, doubling the memory bandwidth and performance efficiency. Read More…

Apart from the new CPU architecture, the chipset is also expected to bring the latest AI features for notebooks, making them a smarter upgrade over previous versions.

The Kirin PC will also focus on better thermal control capabilities. Being the first self-developed laptop chip, it could be slightly less power efficient than the phone processors. Although Huawei may bring better changes in the time ahead.

You can check more news and details of the Kirin PC chip HERE.

Huawei might launch a brand-new notebook called “Hi MateBook” with HarmonyOS operating system soon. A new leak implies that the company could finally showcase an official glimpse of its first computer-dedicated software later this month.

The Chinese tech giant has many new products to unveil in October. The list counts the Nova 13 series, a MatePad 2024 tablet, and the Sound X4 speaker. Now a new input hints towards a dynamic notebook that could launch by the end of October.

UncleKanshan notes that Huawei has a new notebook in the pipeline called ‘Hi MateBook’. The device will likely launch later this month as a smart laptop.

After the first “GT” notebook, Huawei is likely aiming towards a new named – Hi MateBook. The company powers the Hi-tagged product under the WIKO brand. For instance, the Hi Enjoy series. It seems a PC device will also join this category soon.

Further details note that the new Huawei MateBook could debut with HarmonyOS PC. The input could be accurate to some extent as the company’s senior executive – Yu Chengdong said that the next-gen PCs will run on HarmonyOS instead of Windows.

Earlier, the same tipster reported that Huawei is working on a mysterious X project. The project is linked with Smart Selection PCs and may launch by October end. He added that the tech giant may unveil a HarmonyOS notebook in the next six months.

If the X project here is the Hi MateBook, there is a slight possibility that it will launch with HarmonyOS PC. Though an official confirmation still awaits.

It is worth noting that Huawei Consumer Business Chairman Yu Chengdong hasn’t mentioned the exact launch time of HarmonyOS PC software. He has only pointed out that the next-generation laptops won’t run on Windows but HarmonyOS software system.

The accuracy of the current leak is still unclear. But if true, Huawei may soon announce or tease these products on its official social media channels.

Two launch events in October?

UncleKanshan also shared that Huawei could hold two launch events this month. The first one will likely happen on October 15 and showcase the Nova 13 series, HarmonyOS NEXT system, and Watch Ultimate Green Edition. The second one could take place on October 22 debuting, MatePad 2024 and the smart laptops.

It would be worth seeing how the Chinese tech giant makes this month surprising for its consumers. Stay tuned.

After the September 2024 launch event, Huawei is seemingly preparing to unveil more new devices in October. The latest information hints at some of the amazing and most-awaited Huawei products that could launch next month.

UncleKanshan shared a new Huawei devices plan for October 2024. The list counts the Nova 13 series, a new Watch Ultimate Edition, a portable speaker, and a tablet.

Let’s discuss these products one by one!

Nova 13 series: The mid-range lineup has been sparking speculations since April this year. It was expected to launch in June 2024. Later, a few leaks said that the device was delayed to October. It seems the company will finally release it next month.

The mid-ranger could use Kirin 9010 5G and bring a new design as well as camera upgrades. It may adopt enhanced satellite features and bear a higher price than its predecessors. The company may continue the dual front camera concept with Nova 13.

Watch Ultimate New Edition

Huawei has debuted the Watch Ultimate Green Edition in the global market. Although it is still missing from the home ground. Perhaps the company may launch the new wearable edition in China next month with some exclusive smart features.

The dynamic smartwatch adopts a new design with a dual-tone bezel (green-white). It brings golf course-related features, Pro-level sports modes, and the TruSense system. Note that it’s unclear if the company will launch Watch D2 at the same stage.

Portable Speaker: Sound X4

Sound X4 was expected to launch in September alongside new wearables. But the company brought in another compact speaker – Sound Joy 2 with impressive features and a Smart Edition in the home ground. Thus, the X4 may launch in October.

A recent leak suggested that the upcoming Sound X4 speaker will adopt the same color and price as the first-gen model. However, there could be changes in key specs.

MatePad 2024

The Chinese tech giant might release a new-gen MatePad tablet. The details of this device are unclear at present. Although it could be one of the models that recently appeared on the 3C certifications. Things may get more clear in the upcoming days.

These are some of the Huawei models that could debut next month. Note that the company hasn’t confirmed these devices yet. Also, we may see more new additions in October. The launch will probably take place after the Chinese Day holidays (mid-October). Stay tuned.

A new leak suggests that the Huawei Sound X4 speaker will likely come in two colors. The information also reveals the price details and a few other parameters of the next-gen audio device. It seems the device is nearing its launch time.

Weibo tipster @UncleKanshan says Huawei Sound X4 has two main colors: Joy-Con White and Rhythm Black. Note that these are the same as the first-generation speaker.

Further inputs reveal that the Sound X4 speaker will cost the same as the 2021 model. It could be around 2199 yuan ($310). The tipster adds that the speaker’s key specs are currently unknown and may remain a mystery till its official unveiling.

We can assume that the Huawei Sound X4 may come on the user ground with certain upgraded features. The company might also introduce a few AI smart capabilities with the upcoming speaker to boost the audio experience for its consumers.

It is worth mentioning that Huawei Sound X4 may not feature Devialet branding this time. For your information, the tech giant collaborated with the Devialet – a French firm for its amazing audio components and functionalities. The company is well-known for its high-end speakers and audiophile amplifiers.

Devialet branding is stamped on various Huawei devices including smart TVs and speakers. But the Chinese phone maker may swap this mark with Huawei Sound. One of the latest examples in this case is the Sound Joy 2. Check the details HERE.

Huawei may unveil the Sound X4 later this month. For now, the company is busy with the global launch event preparation. The company might unveil the speaker initially worldwide, bringing it to Chinese consumers later. An official announcement awaits on this matter.

Huawei allegedly has a bunch of products to launch by the end of this month and one of these could be Watch D2 wearable. A new input hints that the company could add a second-generation blood-pressure smartwatch to its shelves in the coming days.

Weibo tipster @UncleKanshan says that Huawei could skip the Sound Joy 2, X4 speakers, and the Wi-Fi BE-7 router for the July 2024 new product launch conference.

Users looking for new speakers or a Wi-Fi router might have to wait a little longer. Although the good news is that the company could introduce a new smartwatch.

Huawei seemingly has a second-gen blood pressure wearable – Watch D2 which could launch this month. The respective smartwatch has been in the rumors since last year. However, the company may finally release it in the consumer market.

Further details read that the Huawei Watch D2 has been codenamed “LUCA”. The Chinese name of the device is “Blood Pressure Monitor Generation 2”.

The tipster didn’t reveal any other information about this upcoming wearable. But if the leak is accurate, we may grab the official glimpse of the ultimate smartwatch by the end of this month. Till then, Huawei might share an official teaser of this product.

Huawei Watch D comes in a muscular box-shaped design. It sports a 2.5D curved display solution. The screen panel measures 1.64-inch AMOLED with a 456 x 280 pixels resolution and supports 326 PPI (Pixel Per Inch).

One of the main highlights of the Huawei Watch D wearable is the blood pressure measurement. It consists of a mini pump, airbag, a high-precision pressure sensor, and meticulous pressure feedback controls to detect blood pressure accurately.

Another feature is ECG Analysis. The watch has an ECG app with an ECG sensor module. It provides single-lead ECG measurements, real-time analysis, sinus rhythm, atrial fibrillation, and various other health-related reports.

It would be worth seeing what new changes the alleged Watch D2 will bring over its predecessors.

Google Play Store 36.0.13 is rolling out for Android smartphones and it comes with brand-new optimizations. Following last month’s I/O event, Google has pushed new changes with the latest Play Store build.

For now, the Google Play Store 36.0.13 is available to limited phones but it will expand very soon. Also, it will be seeded in the background.

Google Play Store 36.0.13

What’s happening:

During the Google I/O 2023, Google announced a collection of Play Store features for developers. These changes will affect developer policies and user experience. There is also new security optimization added for all of the app development.

Last month, Google announced the launch of Google Play Games beta to over 40 European markets alongside the UK and New Zealand. With these additions, the platform is now available in 56 countries, which was limited to 13 as of November 2022.

For your information, Google Play Games currently has over 100 Android games at your service. Games such as Asphalt 9 and more are also the ones that are popular among Android phone users.

Users who want to install Play Games need a PC with at least Windows 10, a solid-state drive, 8GB of RAM, and a four-core CPU running Intel’s UHD 630 graphics (found in 8th- and 9th-gen Core chips) or its AMD equivalent. Google recommends a dedicated “gaming-class” GPU like NVIDIA’s GeForce MX450 and a CPU with eight logical cores (such as through hyperthreading).

Earlier this week, Apple Music Classical reached Google Play Store for Android devices. The app came to iOS and iPadOS in March earlier this year. The app has millions of tracks and supports Hi-Res Lossless audio in up to 24-bit/192 kHz, just as it does on iOS. You just need an existing Apple Music subscription and that’s it. (via 9to5mac)

Furthermore, Google Play Books recently received a new feature for better reading habits. With this, you can get the reader to sound out words, track progress, see definitions, and more. (Read More).
