Huawei GoPaint HarmonyOS NEXT app will launch in Q1 2025. One of the company’s moderators has officially confirmed the news in the community. Users will soon be able to enjoy some more fascinating drawing tools and an amazing experience.

The GoPaint app was launched in May this year to enhance the painting experience for users. It comes with various beautiful canvases, different types of brushes, and tutorials that can help a beginner become a Pro in the painting world.

A netizen recently asked when the company will launch the GoPaint native HarmonyOS app version. In response, a Huawei moderator in the community said the company is working on this process and the results will be out till Q1 2025.

“HarmonyOS NEXT is being improved. After the upgrade, HarmonyOS NEXT does not support”Born to Draw”. This feature is being urgently adapted. It is expected to support in the first quarter of 2025. Please wait patiently for the actual push time. Thank you for your understanding and support.”

It is unclear what the new Huawei GoPaint HarmonyOS NEXT app will bring in Q1 2025 for its users. Although this upgrade will likely make the respective application faster, smoother, and more efficient towards relevant tasks.

Users will get a new and significant app performance with the new GoPaint HarmonyOS NEXT app. We may hit more inputs on this matter in the next year.

GoPaint app: support for more tablets!

The Chinese OEM recently listed four more models in the GoPaint support list. Apart from flagship models, the company has expanded the GoPaint’s compatibility to:

  • MatePad Pro 11 2022
  • MatePad Pro 10.8 2021
  • MatePad 11 2023
  • MatePad 11

All these tablets will soon get the GoPaint app with the new HarmonyOS software rollouts. The company will push the respective application in batches. Hence, wait patiently and keep checking the Settings app for a manual installation.

Huawei has launched the GoPaint painting app for its global consumers with a variety of interesting features and tools. The application made its debut with the MatePad 11.5-inch S tablet, accompanying a new way of creativity for drawing lovers.

The official input says that Huawei has developed the GoPaint app with the China Academy of Art (CAA) to offer an immersive digital painting experience. It also uses an unparalleled FangTian Painting Engine to offer a 4K visual effect without consuming much memory.

GoPaint app has such tools and painting features that give you a feel of pen-and-paper even when scribbling on the tablet’s screen. Let’s take a look at its tools.

Huawei GoPaint painting app contains several eye-catching canvases with ink wash, oil painting, and watercolor options. There are more than 100 preset brushes for sketching as well as over 70 brush settings ranging from beginner to Pro level.

Consumers can even use custom brushes where they can personalize the stroke and create their brushing tool as per their requirements. Altogether, these features ensure a pen-on-paper feel with a more efficient user experience.

It is worth mentioning that the application also contains Freehand sketching, Fantasy Illustration, and Textured Painting options. You can select from these and fill in your colors to create a mesmerizing painting of your imagination.

One can also opt for shortcut gestures like:

  • Pick a color: Hold down with one finger
  • Quick Undo: Tap with two fingers
  • Quick Redo: Tap with three fingers
  • Control Canvas: Pinch or rotate with two fingers
  • Enter immersive painting mode: Tap with four fingers

Users will also find designed color palettes and hands-on tutorials for easily begin drawing.

It seems the app runs quite smoothly on newly launched tablets like the Huawei MatePad Pro 13.2 and MatePad Pro 11. It has two in-built scenes named ‘Symphony of Universe’ and ‘Spring Scene’. There is also a pack of new drawings for ‘Beginners’.

Users can find two types of toolbars on the application interface: one on the left side and the other on the top-right section. The former consists of tools like brushes, erasers, and their size adjusters. Whereas, the latter has colors, crop, and other options.

The brush library is full of common painting tools like flat paintbrushes, sketches pencils, markers, and more. Each tool has its way of writing and drawing.
